When it comes to footwear, my hubby and I are world’s apart. I love to go for fashion and “the look”. My hubby, on the other hand, prefers comfort and fit. He doesn’t care what they look like as long as they are comfortable to wear.

After my last trip to the Philippines, I wish I had paid more attention to his emphasis on comfort. On the way over there, I got stranded in Manila because of weather and ended up staying in the airport for more than 24 hours. By the time I finally got home, my feet were swollen and sore. My younger sister in Colorado gained a lot of weight during her pregnancy. From about 90 lbs up to 150. She bought a lot of plus size clothes and at one point in time, she wore her husband’s clothes. Her baby is now eight months old but she is still struggling to lose the weight that she gained. My other sister in Germany was able to get back in shape in just five months. I know everyone is different but I was expecting my younger sister to lose weight the way her older sister did. She is still wearing plus size clothing because she still can not fit into her before baby bump clothes.
