If our vacation plans to the Philippines happen next year, we will probably be better off renting a home for our three month stay there rather than staying at a hotel. We can save a lot of money that way and be able to cook our own meals. I still prefer cooking my own meal rather than going to a restaurant. Anyway my hubby likes to cook and since we will be in my home country, I can showcase my cooking ability to my family who weren’t used to seeing me cooking while I was still living with them. I will start looking for home rentals once we get our tickets booked.

My hubby and I have been talking about taking a trip to Canada. I have been to Canada only once but did not have a chance do much of sightseeing. It was just a day stop over from our trip to South America. I know someone from my village who now lives in Edmonton, Alberta.
