Boss Drums & Percussions

I don’t know much about the Boss Drums machine but many people say that it has many great features. It is loaded with a rhythm program powerhouse that contains world-class drum, percussion and bass sounds. It is very simple and intuitive to operate. It is a great machine that can be used for multiple sets. It is equipped with innovative compose buttons for quick and hassle-free programming.

48 Hour Weekly Task
This week’s Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited weekly task is fun. The task of the six remaining housemates is to put on a 48 hour non-stop entertainment show. It has been two days now since their weekly task started and I find the show really entertaining and it helps me relieve my stress. I actually have a good laugh every time I watch the show. The housemates were involved in eating contests, gaming, dancing, singing, cooking, acting and a lot more.
Biggel, especially is so funny. He is good at beatboxing too. He, Tin and Pamu, known as team bukid or bukid kids, won the Jag and Sony contests. In the Jag contest they won DSLR cameras and in the Sony contest they won Sony internet TVs.

Race Around the World
I have been watching The Amazing Race 20 since it started. The only reason I am watching the show is because I am a fan of the team of Rachel and Brendon. I watched them during their Big Brother seasons and found them entertaining. I like the dramas and Rachel is very good at them. Whether she is doing it intentionally or not, I don’t care, Rachel is a character.
I also watched the previous season of The Amazing Race when Jeff and Jordan were on. I like to watch a TV show if there is someone that I can cheer on.
I can’t wait to watch The Amazing Race 20 episode 4. From the preview of the show, Rachel looks like she is having a melt down and Brendon, as usual, is pretty good at dealing with her. I saw him throwing his hands up in disgust and saying they were out of The Amazing Race.
I hope they won’t be quitting and Rachel will still be able to compose herself and survive another leg of the race. They are a very competitive couple.

Adele Dominates Grammys
This is my second year in a row that I have watched the Grammy Awards night. My hubby normally doesn’t watch this kind of show on television but last night he made an exception, probably because he liked what he saw about Adele on 60 Minutes just before the Grammys came on. I think he was impressed with her and wanted to see her performance.
The 23 year old British singer won six Grammy awards. She won album of the year and along with her songwriting partner Paul Epworth, won the song of the year Grammy for collaboration on the song “Rolling In The Deep”. She also won Grammys for record of the year, best pop solo performance, best short form music video and best pop vocal album for “21.”
After seeing her performance last night, I am planning to buy her album the next time I go to town. After her performance of “Rolling In The Deep”, Adele received a loud and long standing ovation from the packed Staples Center audience. I had goose bumps. She thanked her doctors for bringing her voice back. She had recently undergone surgery for a vocal cord hemorrhage in November so it was nice to see her delivering a strong vocal performance so soon after. She seems to be as good as ever if not better.

PS3 Games
I am not much into gaming but occasionally I do play games online. That only happens once in a blue moon when I don’t have anything else to do. I never heard of Saints Row 3 until just recently. If you want to engage in the most ridiculously fun game playing scenarios, you should check out the Saints Row 3. My hubby has a PS3 but I don’t know what kind it is. I haven’t tried it out yet but hope to soon.

Compare, Shop and Save Big On Become
When it comes to footwear, my hubby and I are world’s apart. I love to go for fashion and “the look”. My hubby, on the other hand, prefers comfort and fit. He doesn’t care what they look like as long as they are comfortable to wear.
After my last trip to the Philippines, I wish I had paid more attention to his emphasis on comfort. On the way over there, I got stranded in Manila because of weather and ended up staying in the airport for more than 24 hours. By the time I finally got home, my feet were swollen and sore. They bothered me for the whole rest of the trip. I should have listened to my hubby before I left and bought myself a nice pair of these strictly comfort shoes from Become.
Before we make our next trip I will definitely do some shopping for shoes. In the meantime, I can’t help looking at some of these gianni bini for special occasions. As long as I only have to wear them a couple of hours at a time, they would be really nice. Maybe I could try some of these asics sneakers for our next trip because they look like they would be stylish and comfortable.

Music and More
I do like music but I am not a music addict. I can get by without music but I would like to listen to it every once in a while, especially if I am working out or doing some household chores because it helps pass the time. I also have a different type of music than most people do. My all time favorite is the praise and worship music from Don Moen. I also like rhythm and blues or R & B but not so much with the rap music. For some reason, that doesn’t sound good to my ear. I do have a favorite rap musician though and that is Eminem.
My hubby has its own preference in music. He likes love songs, especially from Celine Dion but he doesn’t like heavy metal music because for him it is not music, it is just plane noise

Stay at home mom
Written by Fermin Washington
I am a focused stay at home mom. I spend most of my time making sure my kids are safe and my home and family are well taken care of. I have a hard time remembering my needs. It is important that a mom realizes that if she does not take care of herself, she is no good to anyone else. I try to keep my sanity by lowering my standards. I now know that just because I am a stay at home mom I do not have to be perfect. So what if there is laundry that is still undone after 2 days? The moments I spend cleaning are precious moments I could be spending with my kids. I have also started taking naps. This was hard for me to do at first because I was afraid I would miss a movie on direct tv satellite. It is important to nap especially if sleep is interrupted throughout the night. I also have a friend that comes over and watches the girls for me so I can get out of the house. I do the same thing for her. These things help keep me sane.
